Richmond Nightlife

In the Richmond Region, the fun doesn’t set with the sun. When dusk falls, nightlife starts to heat up. Want to enjoy some live music? There are concerts almost every night of the week, and outdoor performances light up the summer calendar. Savor delicious cocktails at a martini bar, followed by a groovin' time at a pulsing dance club. Or just grab a cold beer at a neighborhood pub or pool hall. There’s something for everyone in the Region. Here’s a sampling of where to start:

Fan:

Martini Kitchen and Bubble Bar - Sample a giant, colorful list of martinis and champagne drinks. Unwind on soft leather couches perfect for lounging or watching live music.

DeLux - Located in the historic Fan district of Richmond, DeLux offers upscale diner food in a happening bar scene.

Sticky Rice - With inventive sushi rolls like the Fantabulous Amazing Roll and Walk in the Woods, and after-hours karaoke parties, Sticky Rice is a Fan favorite from lunch to late night. We recommend the Godzirra Roll!

Downtown:

The National – A legendary concert and entertainment venue. Showcasing acclaimed regional and national acts.

Capital Ale House -With three locations in the Richmond Region and hundreds of beers to choose from at each one, a beer lover is never far from the perfect pint. Check out some of the Region’s best musicians in the large downtown music hall, which also features the Brews & Blues music series every Friday!

The River District – A fun, lively area of downtown featuring boisterous bars, restaurants, pool halls and dance clubs.

Siné - Modeled after authentic “city pubs” in Ireland, parts of Siné’s rustic interior were actually designed and built in the mother country. The result is a comfortable and traditional Irish pub accessible to all in the Richmond Region.

Hat Factory - Built in 1896, this former home to the Lady Bird Hat Factory is now a modern concert hall that hosts local, regional and national acts. RVAlution, Richmond’s circus-themed dance party, is turning Tuesday nights into the new Saturday.
