New hotels create countless relaxing spaces for visitors throughout the Richmond Region.
Short Pump
New hotels in the West-End/Short Pump area provide visitors with easy access to shopping, dining and downtown. They include:
• 250-room Westin Richmond
• 135-room Aloft Richmond West in western Henrico County
• 134-room Hotel Sierra Richmond West and 102-room Wingate by Wyndham Richmond Short Pump in the Short Pump area
• 254-room Hilton Conference Center & Spa, adjacent to Short Pump Town Centre shopping mall, offers guests flexible meeting space, a day spa and Shula's American Steak House.
• 372-room Ramada Plaza Hotel Richmond West, formally the Sheraton Richmond West, located in six buildings on 13 acres in a campus-like setting is now a part of the Ramada brand family.
Richmond International Airport
These new additions have made traveling into the Richmond Region much easier for business travelers.
• The newly renovated Courtyard by Marriott Richmond Airport has a new lobby with flat-screen TV’s, Courtyard Bistro serving breakfast and dinner and a Starbucks featuring fresh-brewed coffee and specialty drinks. The guest rooms have all been updated with new TV’s and appliances and a free shuttle to nearby Richmond International Airport (RIC) is provided for all guests.
• A Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn have also opened near RIC.
Chesterfield County
New in Chesterfield County:
• Residence Inn Richmond Chester, where spacious guestrooms feature separate "zones" where guests can live, work, eat & sleep in comfort.
• The Holiday Inn-South Bells Road just completed an entire renovation in April 2010. It now offers over 3,500 sq. ft. of event space and the new Sporting News Grill that offers flat-screen TV's and delicious American fare.
Downtown
Contributing to downtown Richmond’s development are updated, modern hotels featuring meeting space and various dining options.
• The Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Downtown, which opened in 2009 in the historic Miller & Rhoads department store across from the Greater Richmond Convention Center.
• The Richmond Marriott Hotel has undergone an extensive renovation that includes a new Starbucks and T-Miller’s Sports Bar & Grill. T-Miller’s features outdoor seating for 50 people, 27 high-definition TVs and tables and booths with built-in TVs providing more than 200 seats inside.
