- Library of Virginia - Browse one of the country's most extensive collections of Poe artifacts. Allow 1 hour.
- Monumental Church (by appointment) - Built on the site of the Richmond Theatre, where Poe's mother acted, the church crypt is located beneath the sanctuary and contains the remains of those claimed by the Richmond Theatre fire of 1811. Allow 1 hour.

- St. John’s Church graveyard - Pay your respects at the gravesite of Poe’s mother, Elizabeth Allen Poe, or witness a live re-enactment of Patrick Henry’s “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death” speech (seasonal). Allow 45 minutes.
