Attending the Eichmann Trial "I must inform the Kenesset that a short time ago one of the greatest of the Nazi war criminals, Adolf Eichmann, was discovered by the Israel security services and will shortly be placed on trial in Israel…" May 23, 1960, David Ben-Gurion read these words before an astonished Israeli parliament. Dr. Jack Spiro will discuss how his personal experiences in attending the Eichmann trial and its aftermath appear in a larger contextual setting five decades later.

Our event on March 25 will feature Daphne Maxwell Reid, a Virginia resident, Actress, Producer, Entrepreneur, Photographer, Philanthropist, and Co-Owner of the first full-service film studio in Virginia, New Millennium Studios. Daphne is known for her role as Aunt Viv on NBC's comedy "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air," as well as being the first black woman on the cover of Glamour magazine. She is a well-versed speaker on empowerment, leadership, social responsibility, and the entertainment industry. The ninth annual Art for Autism Gala will be held at Try-Me Warehouse the evening of Friday, March 26th. The Gala is The Faison School for Autism’s primary fundraiser. Funds are raised through Gala sponsorships and ticket sales, a live auction, a silent auction and a raffle. The auction includes work from ten wonderful artists, spectacular jewelry and several relaxing get-a-ways. This year's event also features a special performance by The Capitol Steps.
