Farmer Markets
For a truly homegrown experience, check out the many farmers markets popping up all over the Region -- including the West End, Lakeside, South of the James Farmers' Markets, and, of course, the venerable 17th Street Farmers' Market ... open Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from May through October. Nearly every neighborhood in the Region has a specialty shopping outlet to call its own. From River Road to the River District, you'll need several trips to cover them all.
