Inlight Richmond is a yearly event that makes Richmond Richmond. What is it? It's awesome. But it's also:

Organized by 1708 Gallery, InLight Richmond is a FREE, public exhibition of light-based art and performances. Each year, InLight Richmond invites artists to respond to a particular neighborhood, attracting audiences to unique areas of Richmond. We are excited to announce that this year InLight will be two nights! InLight Richmond 2015 will be held on Friday, November 13 from 7 p.m. to midnight and November 14 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

Here are all all the reasons to get excited for InLight 2015:

It's Free. That one speaks for itself.

The bar at the VMFA will be open throughout the event.

The sculptures and performances are amazing.

Seriously. Amazing.

It's two nights this year! InLight is usually one night. Now it's two!

InLight can only be seen here, in Richmond, and only for two days.

Did we mention it's amazing, lighted art, interactive, engaging and amazing? It is.

The event kicks off Friday at 7:30 with a lantern parade. You can get more info and lantern making instructions here.

Do you really need more reasons? You don't. These are all the reasons.
