Mid Atlantic Beard and 'Stache Championships

When: Saturday

 

Where: The Canal Club

 

What? The Mid Atlantic Beard and 'Stache Championships is exactly what it sounds like. It's a facial hair competition. Put on by the RVA Beard League, 100% of the proceeds from this event benefit the Paralyzed Veterans of America Mid-Atlantic Chapter. There are events for beardos all weekend. So come on out, have some beer, see some beards.

 

 

Shockoe Atelier Warehouse Sale!

When: All Weekend 12 - 8 p.m.

 

Where: Shockoe Bottom 15th St. between Cary and Main

 

What? Shockoe Atelier makes jeans right here in Richmond! They've also got a menswear collection that's gonna be absolutely amazing. Get some deals on handmade jeans this weekend (seriously, you or your guy needs to get out of those dad jeans...the time is now.)

 

 

Flying Squirrels Baseball!

When: Tonight, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

 

Where: the Diamond

 

What? You could spend literally all weekend with the Flying Squirrels. There will be fireworks Thursday and Saturday and free T-shirts on Friday!

 

 

No BS Brass Band

When: Friday

 

Where: The Broadberry

 

What? Like music? Like fun? Good, you should probably go 'head and buy tickets for this show now because you're going to get both in heaps at it. Seriously, if you want to have the most fun, buy tickets now.

 

 

Arbor Day Concert

When: Saturday 1 - 6 p.m.

 

Where: Pumphouse Park

 

What? This is going to be awesome. You'll get to see a little folk from Ben Shepherd and a set from South By Southwest darlings, Avers. Pumphouse Park is also ridiculously good looking and you'll be supporting trees, so this show is win, win, win.

 

 

NASCAR at Richmond International Raceway

When: Friday and Saturday night

 

Where: RIR!
