Coming into town this weekend? We've put together a list of calendars around town and picked a few highlights for visitors. We've also got some free stuff and family fun for you. Have fun!

We're a little biased because we think our calendar is pretty great...but only because it is!

Vintage Maymont.  If you want to get your swank on for a good cause, Vintage Maymont is for you. This event, held at the Jefferson, features a high-spirited (boozy) crowd bidding on extraordinary items. Shine your shoes, get a paddle and win some stuff for a good cause.

RVANews is your inside source while you're in the region. We highly recommend checking it out if you want to know what's what in the Richmond Region. Their calendars are awesome too.

We're gonna cheat here because it's restaurant week. Head on over to RVANews for details and get you some seriously discounted grub for a good cause.

This is one of the most comprehensive and easy to read calendars in #RVA. Bookmark it now (after you bookmark, of course.)

WRIR's Monster Mashquerade at the Camel. Do you like music? Do you like Halloween? Do you like local free-form radio and supporting good causes? If you answered yes to at least two of these questions you should probably spend your Friday night at this show.

RVAMag has the best looking calendar in the region. It's particularly strong for music and under-the-radar events.

Lodged by Toobz Muir at Glitch Gallery. There's gonna be food, booze and art at this Glitch Gallery opening.

Style Weekly is the local alt weekly. Check it out for listings, long form reporting and local flavor.

Shakespeare's Ghosts, Witches and Monsters at Agecroft Hall. The Bard comes to life, and gets a bit bawdy, at Agecroft.

RVA on the Cheap

Check this site while you're in the region for all the discounts and free stuff you could ever want.

Pet Expo 2014. Pets, people, fun. Get on it.

Other Stuff

Pizza 2000 is coming back to Sub Rosa this Sunday! This is a pizza pop up. Yes, in 2014 there are pizza pop ups; which is a good thing because this pizza is made in Sub Rosa's wood fired oven...just the way the Pilgrims made it. Check out our blog post on Sub Rosa to find out why you should be excited.

Holler at us on Twitter if you have questions, need recommendations or just wanna say hi.
