Coming into town this weekend? We've put together a list of calendars around town and picked a few highlights for visitors. We've also got some free stuff and family fun for you. Have fun!

We're a little biased because we think our calendar is pretty great...but only because it is!

LEGO KidsFest is the big one on our calendar this weekend. We've posted about it a bit. If you haven't gotten tickets yet, there are a few. We also have big, big news (literally.) Lord Business will be at KidsFest and he's gonna be huuuuuge!

RVANews is your inside source while you're in the region. We highly recommend checking it out if you want to know what's what in the Richmond Region. Their calendars are awesome too.

RVANews has got the 2nd Street Festival on their calendars for the weekend. This event runs Saturday and Sunday. And it's free. There will be food, dancing, kids activities and music all weekend. Locals No BS Brass Band take the stage Sunday at 3:45 p.m.

This is one of the most comprehensive and easy to read calendars in #RVA. Bookmark it now (after you bookmark, of course.)

River City Rapids has a Saturday battle for your pun-based and epicurean allegiances as Hogtober, at Libby Hill Park, and Oystoberfest, at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, both take place on Saturday.

Let's get real, you can do both if you want to spend your RVA Saturday like a champion.

Style Weekly is the local alt weekly. Check it out for listings, long form reporting and local flavor.

Style Weekly has a Found Footage Film Festival at Strangematter Saturday. Tickets are 10 bucks. This one looks fun.

Living Social can get you and another guest into the Valentine for $10! That's a deal. The Valentine is a local, and national, treasure. They're finishing up their remodeling efforts, so if you think about it, going now is almost like getting an exclusive preview of the shiny new Valentine.

As mentioned, the 2nd Street Festival is free all weekend.

DailyDealRichmond has two admissions to Frightmares at the Regency Square mall in Henrico for $13.
