Adult

Detroit electronic duo Adult shares a bill with A Place to Bury Strangers and The Treasury. Nicola Kuperus and Adam Lee Miller make synth-punk from an intentionally restless palette: electronic percussion and looping vocals meet abrasive synth textures, with recent work exploring dissonance and instability. A Place to Bury Strangers brings another angle on adventurous guitar music, moving through post-punk, noise rock, shoegaze and psychedelia. The combination brings stark electronics and noisy guitars together in an immersive, experimental concert experience. Expect contrasting approaches to texture and intensity across this multi-artist night, from Adult.’s synth-driven pulse to the dense, effects-rich sound associated with A Place to Bury Strangers.
