Kids’ Chance of Virginia Announces 14th Annual Charity Golf Classic to Support Children of Injured Workers
“Every year, our Golf Classic unites businesses, insurers, law firms, and individuals who care about Virginia’s working families,” said Kevin Reap, President of Kids’ Chance of Virginia. “Last year’s tournament raised over $50,000, directly funding scholarships that change lives. We’re calling on the Richmond community to join us in 2026—whether by playing, sponsoring a hole, or supporting a team—to help even more kids achieve their dreams.”
The event features: • Shotgun start at 11:00 AM (registration opens at 10:00 am) • 18-hole scramble format on Hunting Hawk’s course • On-course contests (longest drive, closest to the pin) • Post-round awards luncheon, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and inspiring stories from scholarship recipients
Sponsorship opportunities range from hole sponsors to title-level packages with prominent branding, social media recognition, and event perks. Corporate teams and individual golfers are encouraged to register early.
Kids’ Chance of Virginia awards scholarships to eligible students whose parent or guardian suffered a severe or fatal workplace injury covered under Virginia workers’ compensation laws. These funds help cover tuition, books, and other educational expenses, offering hope and opportunity to young adults facing financial barriers.
