Art as a Place WorkshopVisit Website
In this full day workshop, participants will learn to create hand-cut paper collages of inspiring places using magazines, catalogs, and personal photographs. Following a four-step method of Observation, Deconstruction, Rehearsal, and Assembly (ODRA), the course will cover inspiration, planning, composition, and art production.
Steven Rudin creates multilayered collages of imagined places. Rudin’s vast interiors and panoramic landscapes invite the viewer into a world of discovery and reflection. His work explores art as a place inside of all of us.
Light refreshments will be provided for a lunch break at 12:00-1:00 PM, or participants can bring their own lunch. Masks will be required. All levels are welcome. The deadline to register is October 20th.
