Meet one of America’s top mystery writers Walter Mosley at this year’s All Henrico Reads, a free event open to the public. Mosley will talk about his latest book, “Gray Dawn.” The novel continues the story of Detective Easy Rawlins, the popular protagonist of Mosely’s best-selling book and the movie starring Denzel Washington, "Devil in a Blue Dress". Mosley is one of America’s most celebrated writers, having earned nearly every mystery writer award possible. An author of more than 60 books, Mosley’s work extends across the arts to include television, stage and film. The NAACP has honored Walter a record three times with the Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work in Fiction. All Henrico Reads is a "One Book" reading program that brings people together over a common topic, encourages a sense of community, promotes literacy, and fosters a love for the connecting power of literature. The event is sponsored by the Friends of Henrico County Public Library, Henrico County Public Library, and Henrico County Public Schools.
