Big Ass Truck

Big Ass Truck I.E. brings a deliberately oversized strain of hardcore to the Canal Club. The Southern California crew describes its sound through huge riffs and breakdowns, translating monster-truck imagery into blunt, high-impact music. Their debut EP, Found on Road Dead, expands on the abrasive style introduced by earlier singles, with hardcore aggression, heavy guitar parts and punishing rhythmic drops. The band’s own visual identity is equally direct: diesel, wreckage and back-wheel stomp frame a group that favors impact over polish. Expect a loud, physical concert atmosphere built around crushing riffs and sharp shifts into breakdowns. The group’s all-caps trucker persona adds a tongue-in-cheek edge to its otherwise forceful hardcore approach.
