His sound is rooted in contemporary jazz but is boldly flavored with R&B, gospel, and funk influences, making his music both accessible and artistically authentic.

Her early start as a background vocalist with Michael Henderson and later, Was /Not Was gave her the impetus to launch a solo career. 6 Albums and 13 Singles later, she's won awards in the Song of the Year category at the SoulTracks Readers Choice Awards and also Best Jazz Vocal Album and Single from the Independent Broadcasters Alliance.
She’s played to sold-out audiences in Istanbul and the UK. A few performances include the Blue Note At Sea, Blue Note Beijing, Exit Zero Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz Festival, Detroit International Jazz Festival, Jazz a’Vienne, France, Air Berlin Jazz Series, Germany, The North Sea Jazz Festival, The San Javier Jazz Festival,The Ascona Jazz Festival, The Bach Dance And Dynamite Concert Series and as an Educator/Performer, she has been the invited guest artist in residence at over 150 Colleges and Universities, to work with their respective Jazz and Arts Programs. Her clinics and workshops teach performance skills alongside business strategies for students wishing to become independent artists.
Kathy, a true renaissance woman, also excels as a painter. Her abstract acrylics on canvas are influenced by the cubist paintings of the '50s and she continues to sell her work at gallery shows and concert performances alike.
Kosins has recorded, performed and/or shared the stage with many well-known contemporary artists, including Gregory Porter, Randy Brecker, Eric Marienthal, Jonathan Butler, Peabo Bryson, Earl Klugh, and The Rippingtons.
