Every December, CMSCVA lights up the winter night with a spectacular concert of Baroque music performed on period instruments. This year, virtuoso violinists shiver and burn in a program of concertos by the Italian masters of the Baroque period, Locatelli, Corelli and Vivaldi. Highlights include Vivaldi's famous and tempestuous "Winter" concerto, and the world premiere of a new work for Baroque ensemble by Richmond composer Chloe Biggs.
