A weekly concert showcasing Richmond’s Goldmine of music talent! In person and livestreamed, presented by Shockoe Records and In Your Ear Studios. FLKL is a four piece RVA-based rock band. With an eclectic mash up of punk, grunge, surf, and folk influences, their sound includes heavy riffs, four-part vocal harmonies, and an electric banjo. The group features Brittany Horkan on drums, Delilah Ruth Harris on bass, Alex Harris on guitar, and Mike Ferster on electric banjo. Before FLKL became what it is today, they were just middle school friends in Virginia who started making music together. In the years since, FLKL recorded their first album ‘Songs For Your Dogs’ in January 2020 in Los Angeles. After the band moved to Richmond, Virginia in 2021, they hit the ground running with local shows and an East Coast tour in August 2022. FLKL’s second album "Fistful" comes out on March 4, 2023 with an album release show at The Camel in Richmond. This show will have support from their good friends Catie Lausten and The Mitras.
