Join us for an informative artist talk by Kathleen Walsh who shares her experience and artwork from her most recent trip to Africa. For 20 plus years Kathleen Walsh lived, worked and raised a family overseas--eight of those years in Africa. She launched her work a professional artist in 2002. Africa, The Women, began as a series of watercolor sketches done on the road, under a tree, or in a field. Back in the states I developed the sketches into larger pieces using a mixed medium including oil pastel, paper and paint.
