Gibson Brothers

The Gibson Brothers are an American brother duet, joined by their talented and illustrious band, who have performed bluegrass music professionally since the late 1980s.

Prepare to go on a journey through some of the greatest bluegrass harmonics of the 20th century, when The Gibson Brothers take the stage at The Gordon in January. The New York Times has called Leigh and Eric Gibson “bluegrass superstars.” Together they represent sibling harmony at its finest. According to the iconic cultural review PopMatters "Eric and Leigh Gibson might have, pound-for-pound, the most impeccably fine-sounding traditional bluegrass band on the contemporary scene… instrumentally the group plays with unmatched alacrity and taste." Voted 2013 Entertainers of the Year at the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards for the second year in a row, the group also won the Vocal Group of the Year, Song of the Year, and Eric Gibson was named Songwriter of the Year.
