History at the Movies: The Last Duel

Join the VCU history department for a night out at the historic Byrd Theatre. Associate professor Leigh Ann Craig will offer an introduction and discussion at our screening of Ridley Scott’s 2021 film "The Last Duel" starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Adam Driver and Jodie Comer. Come enjoy a night at the movies, as well as a discussion about historical facts known and unknown, and about the adaptation and use of history in modern media.
