Leading the 2025 IIBF is Virginia's own Books & Things Publishing Owner and Author Danielle Marietta, whose varied children's and middle-grade literature has appeared on numerous bestseller rankings, including the International Book Award in Children's Fiction, the Global Book Award in Children's Early Learning, and the Black KidLit Awards 2024.
Renowned for advocating diversity and inclusion in children's literature, Marietta's works have received acclaim from readers and glowing reviews from critics. She provides publishing guidance and supports aspiring writers on a full-time basis.
