It Takes a Village: A Juneteenth Pop-Up Wellness Celebration
Join us on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Tabernacle Baptist Church- Chesterfield for It Takes a Village—a vibrant, intergenerational Juneteenth pop-up event centered around community, culture, and collective healing. Hosted by The Homeplace Project in collaboration with Tabernacle Baptist Church, this celebration will uplift the spirit of freedom, family, and wellness through a day of intentional connection and cultural expression.
From Zumba and chair yoga to oral history chats, family tree-making, youth activities, and healthy soul food demos, this interactive experience invites you to move, reflect, and celebrate in a joyful, welcoming space. We'll also feature health screenings, vendor tables, music, games, and a storytelling station to preserve our powerful community narratives. Whether you're coming with friends, bringing the whole family, or just stopping by, we invite you to gather, breathe, and heal with us. Because wellness is not just personal—it’s generational. And in this village, everyone belongs.
