Get ready for a celebration like no other! Henrico County Recreation and Parks is thrilled to invite you to our 2-day Juneteenth Celebration! On Friday, June 20th, we’re kicking things off with our first-ever Juneteenth Jamboree, and you won’t want to miss it! We’re starting with a parade that will begin at Baker Elementary School and wrap up at Varina High School, featuring around 50 incredible local businesses and organizations.
But that’s not all! Right after the parade, we’ll have an epic 7v7 football showdown between Henrico County’s very own high schools: Varina, Highland Springs, J.R. Tucker, Glen Allen, Deep Run, and Henrico! And DJ Amare will be on the turntables, keeping the vibe going strong. Plus, we’ll have food trucks serving up delicious bites for you to enjoy. We can’t wait to celebrate and share this unforgettable day with you. See you there!
