On Friday, June 20th, we will host our first-ever Juneteenth Jamboree, and you won’t want to miss it! Starting at 5:00pm, we’ll kick off a parade at Baker Elementary School and wrap up at Varina High School. The parade will feature around 50 incredible local businesses and organizations. But that’s not all! Following the parade, from 6:30 PM-9:00 PM, we’ll have an epic 7v7 football showdown between Henrico County’s very own high schools: Varina, Highland Springs, J.R. Tucker, Glen Allen, Deep Run, and Henrico! DJ Amare will be on the ones and twos, keeping the vibes going strong. Plus, we’ll have food trucks you can purchase delicious bites from.
