Artspace exhibitions examine multiple interpretations of the meaning of family at the nonprofit gallery in Richmond, VA Artspace gallery is mounting a month-long special exhibition and sale. Proceeds from sales will benefit ChildSavers in their mission to improve the mental well-being of children through clinical treatment and education. Family, a beautiful and challenging exhibition, explores the theme of “family” and runs June 23 - July 22, 2023. The opening reception takes place Friday, June 23, 2023, 6-9 p.m. Juror, Miguel Carter-Fisher, will also give a talk about his selections and present awards on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 7 p.m.
Also on view in the Elisabeth Flynn-Chapman Gallery, Theme & Variations: Spring Semester 2023, is a family-themed group exhibition by instructor Michael Pierce’s advanced watercolor students from the Brightpoint Community College spring semester.
