Opening Reception ‘Africa, Women I Met Along the Way’

Join us as Kathleen Walsh unveils paintings from her most recent trip to Africa. For 20 plus years Kathleen Walsh lived, worked and raised a family
overseas--eight of those years in Africa. She launched her work a professional artist in 2002. Africa, The Women, began as a series of watercolor sketches done on the road, under a tree, or in a field. Back in the states I developed the sketches into larger pieces using a mixed medium including oil pastel, paper and paint.
