Artist Statement
This series was inspired by the symbolism of the circle. The circle itself is the most common and universal sign, found in all cultures. It is the symbol of the sun and moon which has a limitless and boundless aspect. It has no beginning and no end, and no divisions, making it the perfect symbol of boundary and enclosure, of completion and returning cycles. Fifty percent (50%) of the proceeds of this show will go toward outreach programs at the RVA Creative Wellness Center.
