At Artworks in Richmond, Virginia, formal opening on October 27, 2017, an art exhibit titled – The Red, White and The Bull.
This will artistically be a political satire focusing on “The Bull,” the rhetoric pushing America toward a more extremist point of view thought best to resolve societal issues. The underlying objective of this creative event is to help expose the lies and trickery. To help bring back to light out of the darkness, a suppressed, antiquated way of thinking once again being resurrected that’s festered with predisposition, inhibition and stereotype. A misguided rhetoric flowing out of the mouth of the US Congress, all the way from the office of the president. “The Bull,” that’s been laced with the precepts of fascism and supremacy. An extremist point of view standing in stark contrast to the American ideal of liberty – freedom, equality and justice for all.
The exhibit will be a creative collaboration of visual art and writing between two very vocal social activist artists. Live Poetry reading on the opening night Oct 27th, 2017 from 7-9pm.
