The Virginia Open is Richmond's first major padel tournament, bringing world-class competition to the heart of the city. Hosted at Padel Plant — the revitalized Haxall Canal Hydroelectric Plant on the Downtown Canal Walk — this four-day event combines elite sport, lifestyle activations, and community celebration in one of the most iconic venues on the East Coast.
The Open will be our largest tournament yet, with ~150 players, and the start of what we expect to be an annual summer tradition in Richmond. Expect top talent traveling in from across the region, incredible matches on court, pop-ups and a DJ off court, and the support of some amazing local companies helping make it all happen.
