Dorey Park

400-acre park with everything from disc golf to horseback-riding trails, from a fishing pier to nearly 2 miles of hiking trails. Dorey Park features approximately five miles of trails designed for horseback riding. A horse ring is available for public use during the week. Horse shows are held by a variety of organizations. At the rear of Dorey Park, beyond the shelters, lies a Disc Golf course available free to all patrons of the park. Disc golf is similar to traditional golf, but uses a flying “Frisbee-like” disc. One point is counted whenever the disc is thrown and when a penalty is incurred. The object is to get the lowest score. The course runs through the wooded area for 18 holes.
