The International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum presents an exciting chronology of the sport's rich history, from its earliest origins through todays top champions and professional stars. Explore the Collection Set dramatically in the original rooms of the historic Newport Casino, the Museum chronicles the history of the sport and Newport’s role as the cradle of American tennis. The Museum contains a diverse collection of memorabilia, art, fashion and more from the 12th century through present day. Items on display include trophies and attire belonging to the game’s biggest stars, vintage tennis equipment, video highlights of great matches and tennis clothing ranging from Victorian dresses to modern fashions. Be Inspired in the Hall of Fame Since 1955, the International Tennis Hall of Fame has honored the game’s greatest champions, innovators, and contributors. Honorees have included legends such as Rod Laver, Tony Trabert, Fred Perry, Billie Jean King, Stan Smith, and recent years have seen the induction of John McEnroe, Stefanie Graf, Martina Navratilova, Patrick Rafter, Pete Sampras and Monica Seles. The Woolard Family Enshrinement Gallery features interactive touchscreen kiosks at which visitors can learn about their favorite Hall of Famer, including video highlights and statistics.
