One of the best museums in the D.C. area, and a must-see for any Marine or anyone who appreciates the Corps. It can take a half-day to see everything, so allow enough time to go through each historical period of the Marine Corps, from the Revolutionary War to today. Each major war has a "scene", to immerse one in what things were like. Part of the Vietnam area is set up like part of the Khe Sahn battle, and the Korea one is set on Fox Hill. Even the temperatures of these rooms are adjusted to give one the sense of "being there". A very well done museum that impresses at every turn.
