For the bicentennial of the War of 1812, historic interpretation will center on Commodore Decatur and his squadron of three ships trapped on the Thames by a British blockade through much of the war. The event will feature wine tastings provided by Gordon's Yellow-Front Wines and Spirits -- offering special case pricing, hors d'oeuvres and desserts, live music performance with a War of 1812 theme, historic interpreters in period attire, and beautiful fall foliage.
