Fall is the season of picking. Picking apples, picking pumpkins, picking winning football teams. Richmond Region Tourism is adding one more to the list: picking up RVA!

Let’s make sure RVA is beautiful as Richmonders and out-of-town visitors enjoy our region’s mild fall temperatures and host of outdoor activities. On October 26, join Richmond Region Tourism in our second Tourism Picks Up day to literally pick up before the world heads outside. That Friday, take one hour of your day to look around. Does trash need to be picked up? Have leaves piled up already? Could a mulch bed use fresh mulch or flowers? If everyone spruces up their slice of the region, by the end of the day, RVA will be ready for its close-up.

Commit to participating in Tourism Picks Up by posting on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #RVATourismCares. Remember that hashtag and use it on October 26 to share pictures of your clean up in action! Let’s grab our gloves, head outside and pick up together!
