US Youth Soccer has announce that the USYS League Championship will be held May 22-23, 2021 at the RiverCity Sportsplex in Richmond, Virginia.  RiverCity is home to 12 lighted turf fields.  In partnership with Richmond Region Tourism, USYS will be able to offer discounts/coupons to many of the surrounding attractions and restaurants.

USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals Heads to Richmond for 2021 - USA Archery is pleased to announce that Richmond, Virginia will be the host city for the 2021 National Collegiate Target Championships and World University Games – U.S. Team Trials on May 20-23.

USCAA Announces Richmond Region as Host City for 2021 & 2022 Basketball National Championships – The United State Collegiate Athletic Association is excited to announce the 2021 and 2022 USCAA Basketball Small College National Championships will be held in Richmond, VA.

USA Fencing Returns to Richmond  - The 2020-21 season will open in Richmond, Virginia at the October North American Cup.

National League Alliance Announce Generations adidas Cup - This coming year, the National Leagues Alliance (NLA) in partnership with the Club Champions League (CCL) and adidas, will host its first President’s Day weekend tournament, the Generation adidas National Cup, February 15-17, 2020, in Richmond, Virginia for U11-U19 boys and girls age groups.

Henrico County unveils plan for new sports complex that would replace Virginia Center Commons - County leaders say the new sports complex, estimated to be about 200,000 square feet, is set to replace the Virginia Center Commons Mall. Once built, the new indoor sports venue will house a convocation center for graduations, basketball courts and more.

USA Archery Announces 2020 Event Schedule - The 136th USA Archery Target Nationals and U.S. Open head to Richmond, Virginia on August 12-15

Richmond will host inaugural Sports Diversity Jubilee in May - The Richmond region has been selected to host the inaugural Sports Diversity Jubilee, a multisport tournament featuring LGBTQ+ athletes from around the world.

The Basketball Tournament returning to Richmond - After a successful showing in 2018, The Basketball Tournament will bring a regional round back to the Siegel Center this coming July.

IQA World Cup 2020 to be held in Richmond, United States - The International Quidditch Association is proud to announce the location of the IQA World Cup 2020. After a vote by the Assembly of Members in which all 18 full member NGBs have participated, Richmond, Virginia, United States, has been chosen to host the event with 10 out of 18 votes, while Getxo, Spain received 7 votes and 1 NGB .abstained. World Cup 2020 will be co-hosted by the IQA, Richmond Region Tourism, US Quidditch, and Major League Quidditch.
