Why should I sign up for the I Am Tourism Ambassador program? 

- Learn what's in your own backyard and gain a visitor's perspective of our region.

- Champion Richmond's network of business owners and local workforce.

- Gain access to IAT Graduate events and volunteer opportunities.

How many participants attend each session? 

- All workshops are capped at 50 participants.

- Each class is limited to four people per organization.

What is the dress code? 

- Dress code is casual. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes as there may be some walking during the guided tour.  

What can I expect during each workshop? 

- Each session of I Am Tourism Ambassador features an educational classroom session, an interactive and networking activity, and a custom curated bus tour led by Bill Martin, Executive Director of The Valentine.  

Can I sign up for multiple sessions? 

- To accommodate each individual, we are asking that you only sign up for one session at this time.  

What do I receive after each workshop? 

- A certificate of completion.

- An I Am Tourism Ambassador lapel pin.

- Access to our digital Greater Richmond Attractions Discovery pass to experience first-hand the many offerings of our vibrant region.
