The ICA presents the art of our time, and provides an open forum for conversation and collaboration on contemporary topics. VIRGINIA MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS
The type of museum you’d find in a major world-class city. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is home to famed collections of art deco, 20th century, and every era from the dawn of man to five minutes ago. Groups of 10 to 40 are oh-so-welcome. Check out their special adult tour offerings.

THE VALENTINE MUSEUM
For more than 100 years, the Valentine has told the story of Richmond through exhibitions, city tours, special events, interactive history programs, tours of the 1812 Wickham House and more. Reservations are required for groups of 10+.

THE BRANCH MUSEUM OF ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
Featuring architecture-related exhibitions in a 27,000 square foot Tudor revival mansion.

BLACK HISTORY MUSEUM & CULTURAL CENTER OF VIRGINIA
With interactive, educational permanent and traveling exhibitions, The Black History Museum & Cultural Center of Virginia celebrates the rich culture and moving histories of African American people in Virginia and their contributions to our country.

Every First Friday is a celebration in downtown Richmond’s vibrant Arts District. Held year-round, with street performers, vendors and free admission to galleries. 5pm-9pm (hours may vary)
