What I love most about RVA – The Richmond Region has an all-encompassing festival scene. Here, we celebrate food, drinks, art, and music year-round in numerous unique neighborhoods. These festivals not only draw us closer together as a community but allow us to celebrate our history and culture with visitors from all over the world. Whether you are with family or friends or want to venture out for some “me-time,” the festivals in the Richmond Region are sure to create a memorable experience for all. One of my favorite festivals, Broad Appétit, was recently recognized by MSN as one of the best food and drink festivals in the US. Come check it out!

What I love most about RVA – The Richmond Region is a year-round outdoor gem! You can bike, raft, hike, run or even climb your way through the region. From our parks with unparalleled trails to whitewater rafting to rock climbing, there is something to do for everyone. Not many other destinations our size can say they have a river with class IV rapids flowing right through their downtown community. Want to see what I mean? The Richmond Region is home to exciting outdoor events year-round including the country’s largest outdoor music and sports festival, Dominion Energy Riverrock.
