This half-mile linear walkway/bikeway is a Hanover County greenway that is part of the historic Ashland-Richmond Trolley Line. It is cleared and maintained as a natural surface. The trail extends from 11644 Gwathmey Church Road at the southern end to the intersection of Maple Street and Ashcake Road. The former Trolley Line generally followed Maple Street at England Street south to the city of Richmond. Additional improvements to this regional trail are planned as part of the Ashland to Petersburg Trail.
