- Description Built in 1928, Richmond CenterStage’s Carpenter Theatre has been beautifully restored into one of Richmond’s premier venues. With its unique Spanish baroque architecture, it will captivate you and your guests with its elegant interiors and lush surroundings. Combined with the more contemporary styles of the adjacent Rhythm Hall and Libby S. Gottwald Playhouse, this downtown complex has everything you need for your special day.
