The Library of Virginia is open to the public 6 days a week and features special collections including ledgers of plantation owners, petitions of slaves and free blacks, Indian treaties, and Virginia’s original copy of the United States Bill of Rights. Also of interest are rotating educational exhibits, a modern and unique space to complete your research, a cafe and a gift shop.
