Tredegar Beach
Visit WebsiteAbout
Tredegar Beach, also known as Tredegar Street Takeout, is a pleasant walkway, beach, and small parking area and takeout for paddlers, adjacent to Brown’s Island and just east of Belle Isle. It is located across Tredegar Street from the American Civil War Center and Tredegar Iron Works Richmond Battlefield Park Visitor Center. There is a rope swing under the CSX Viaduct and the sandy beaches here are often a popular destination on summer weekends.
