Virginia Museum of History & Culture (VMHC)
Visit WebsiteAbout
The Virginia Museum of History & Culture is rich in event venues, each one as incomparable as the Commonwealth itself. You and your guests will never forget... An elegant wedding in an historic drawing room. A powerhouse crowd in a soaring, cathedral-like atrium. An intimate get-together in an art-filled gallery. A well-equipped classroom, an acoustically superb theater, a serene patio and garden, and coming Spring of 2021, a well-equiped conference venue made up of 4 meeting rooms.
VMHC members and non-members may book any one or several of these interconnected venues to suit the event. Whether you’re ready to book or just want to learn more, please contact the Special Events and Facility Rentals Manager, at 804.342.9676 or events@virginiahistory.org.
Fees vary depending upon daytime operating hours (9:00 am – 5:00 pm) or after hours (5:00 pm – 11:00 pm). The Virginia Museum of History & Culture tries to accommodate fellow non-profits by working within your budgets.
