Jerrine bumpAs Vice President of Sales at Richmond Region Tourism, Jerrine Lee, STS focuses every day on helping her team promote the Richmond Region as a world-class destination for meetings, conventions, sports tournaments and events.

In February she was recognized for her work and named as one of the 12 winners of the Women Who Drive Richmond.

The inaugural awards program was organized by the Richmond Times-Dispatch and Richmond Raceway, and a selection committee selected honorees from a pool of 80 candidates.

After driving record numbers as Director of Sports Development and later as Vice President of Sports, Jerrine was promoted to her current position in January 2022 and oversees all meeting and convention sales, along with sports development and events.

Jerrine is focused on cultivating a workplace where everyone feels affirmed, heard and respected, and ensuring that her teams have the resources they need to get the job done. She prioritizes making sure everyone has a voice and the space to actively contribute to the overall success of the team, regardless of role or tenure within the organization.

She is also passionate about amplifying and championing DEI through all sectors of tourism. Throughout her career, Jerrine has recruited diverse events like the Stonewall Sports National Tournament & Summit in 2021, the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance 2022 NAGAAA Cup and Compete Sports Diversity Summit. She serves on the Compete Sports’ Diversity Leadership Council and the Sports Events & Tourism Association’s Board of Directors and board liaison to the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Community.
