With traveler sentiment and hotel occupancy at an all-time post pandemic high, third-party planners now have even more reasons to take another look at the Richmond Region for meetings and conventions.
Beginning on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, all third-party meeting and convention planners who work through the CVENT platform and the HelmsBriscoe network will have the opportunity to take advantage of Richmond Region Tourism’s “2% in 2022” incentive plan. Planners who belong to a different network, or who use another platform to source events are still welcomed to participate.
For short-term single property business in the Richmond Region, planners can earn an additional commission on total room nights from Richmond Region Tourism if they book an event in 2022 for the months of June, July, August, and September.
Focusing on long term recovery, Helms Briscoe planners who book a city-wide business using the Greater Richmond Convention Center can earn an additional commission on room nights from Richmond Region Tourism if they book an event in 2022 that will take place in July, August, or September of 2023.
